Happiness is a Cargo Container
With the current move to tiny houses, cargo containers are a hot property. This summer we purchased a nearly new container (one oceanic trip) to use as a studio and animal facility. In addition to the electrical, it is partially insulated to reduce temperature fluctuations. This has also dropped noise significantly. Not only are the animals calmer, it is an incredible place to think and work. I never knew how life changing it is to have a bit of quiet space; hope you find yours too!

We have two species of wild rats in our yard, and they are a potential threat to our housed animals: not only disease transmission, but also bite injuries. But when we found a dead rat on the trail, it became clear we were missing the incredible details of these elusive species.
